The knife is a tough contender and will deliver some of the sharpest cuts you will ever likely face. This knife is part of the Case “Navy Blue” bone handled knife series. One of just 11 knives to feature this Navy Blue, it's a real thing of beauty.
Case have had more than 100 years to perfect their designs. Since 1889 they've surpassed the requirements and desires of their designers and come up with some world leading designs that have stood the test of time, so suffice to say that case know a thing or two about knives.
With pattern number 61749L S the knife has a navy Blue Rogers Corn Cob jigged bone handle. The handle is fastened with Brass pins and then a Case Nickel Silver inlay shield is set into the handle. The inlay shield is stamped with CASE USA – setting it apart from the majority of their inlay shields.
Both the shield and the two end bolsters are made using polished Nickel Silver. They do a great job of enhancing the overall appearance. Then we come to the blade. A Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel blade that holds a razor sharp edge, and retains that edge for long periods of time. There is also a long grove cut into the blade that provides you with assistance when you are pinching the grip in order to pull it out of the handle.
This Case Blue mini Copperlock measures 3 5/8 inches when the blades are closed, and weighs just 2oz. A nice knife with plenty of appeal that's sure to delight. 61749LSS pattern. 3 5/8" closed lockback. Tru-Sharp surgical steel clip blade. Navy blue jigged bone handles with Case USA inlay shield.
