The knife features a 4 inch Tanto blade that is made from 440 grade high Carbon stainless steel that has a bead blasted finish to it. The blade is exceptionally sharp and superb for piercing thrusts, cuts and other associated tasks.
To open the blade out simply unhinge the catch at the rear of the handle and both handles will fold out to the open position. You can fasten the catch on to both handles in this position to lock it all in the open position, measuring 9 inches total open length.
The handle is made using die cast metal that is slotted and given a Black epoxy powder coating. The slotted design means that you get a nice and light handle that helps to keep your hands cool and drain away excess fluids such as sweat and rainwater and even blood if you are using this as a hunting or survival knife.
