Bear & Son are a family based company working out of their factory in Jacksonville, LA where they undertake the entire knife making process. They make their own blanking dies, make their own components, do all the assembly, blade grinding and final finishing. This means that they can keep a tight control on manufacturing tolerances so you get a well made robust knife.
The handle is a polished and bevelled stainless steel that incorporates a lockback mechanism that locks the blade securely in place during use. Simply squeeze it to release the blade lock and it can be closed away when not in use.
Measuring 3 inches when closed, the knife can be carried all day without bulking out your pockets. The blade is a Clip point blade with a very sharp edge and nail nick for easy opening. Stamped on the tang with BEAR MGC USA.
