XXV 11577 Limited Edition Crimson Bone Peanut Knife

At the W.R.Case knife company, they bring out a new XX limited edition series of knives each year. This time it's the turn for the Crimson bone series, and this knife is the Case XXV Crimson bone peanut knife, model number 11577. A real treat for knife fans.

The trouble with being so good at things is that people continue to expect a lot from you. This knife delivers on all aspects and never displeases. It's part of a collection of eight different knife types, with each knife bearing the same Crimson bone color scheme, and an old Case classic design, the Bomb inlay shield. These collections pay tribute to Case times gone past and celebrate the future successes through their desirability.

This knife features a Clip and pen blade – both made from Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel, and both very pleasing in function. A nail mark provides extra traction for when you open the blade. The Clip blade features the wording “LIMITED XX EDITION – 1 OF 3000”. This signifies the fact that it is a Case, and pays tribute to their XX knives. Even the blade is tang stamped Case XX near to the pivot.

The handle is a realistic wooden looking handle, that is actually made using cattle bone which has been Roger jigged and given this Crimson color finish. The pattern number is 6220 SS. There are only 3000 of these being made, so if it takes your fancy you may want to consider getting this knife before they all go.
