This knife features a stainless steel blade and a stainless steel handle. Taken from an original design produced for world war 2 paratroopers. Open the latch at the rear of the handle then two parts of the handle open out to allow the blade to slide backwards inside the handle as though it is on a set of runners. It's a little bit like opening a set of shears / scissors
