Thermacell MR-9C Mini Mosquito Repellent Lantern

Here is the Thermacell Mosquito repelling mini lantern, model number MR9C. Thermacell have gained a fantastic name for what they do. They are pretty much unbeatable when it comes to repelling mosquitoes, black flies and no-see-ums.

The US Army have extensively tested the Thermacell products and report that they are around 98% effective within a 15 foot x 15 foot area, so these are fantastic products to be using when sat outside, or around a cap fire.

This mini lantern is actually superb. Simply slide in the Butane canister at the side and it's going to last for around 12 hours. Then slide the Thermacell patch in the top of the unit.

The next step is to light the butane by pressing the in built button for the unit. This creates a safe flame that heats the Thermacell patch and this then causes the Thermacell repellent to be evenly distributed within a 15 foot x 15 foot area extremely effectively – even if the area is totally swarming with mosquitoes, it's almost like an invisible wall keeping them out.

If the unit tips over then the flame will automatically cut out. Keeping things extremely safe. This product is registered by the EPA.

Contains no DEET, is odor free and an effective alternative to lotions or sprays. It even gives off a nice ambient glowing light so is great for barbecues.
When assembled, this unit measures 6 inches deep x 5.5 inches high x 3.5 inches wide with an opaque finish to it.
