It measures 8 inches overall when open and features a 440 steel blade which is Teflon coated and has a part serrated edge to help cut through things. The blade measures 3.5 inches and closes inside the 4.5 inch handle when not in use.
A liner lock mechanism keeps everything rigid and in situ during use, so you don't have to worry about accidental closure. A spring assisted opener allows one handed rapid deployment of the blade. Simply flick the thumb stud or index finger flipper underneath the blade.
