Spyderco SC127GPOR Item Description:The Spyderco Urban Slipit knife (model number SC127GPOR) comes with a 2 9/16” Wharncliffe blade that is made from VG-10 steel. The blade on this knife is a Slipit blade which is safely held open by a notched or slip joint that can be found at the knifes pivot.
When you close the blade the notch produces resistance which is very similar to the traditional slip joint penknife.
The blade also has the well known Spyderco hole cut out, that allows the user to open the knife up using just one hand.
The G10 handle comes in a vibrant Orange color which makes it so much easier to find if you were to accidentally drop it on the floor. Alongside this it has a deep finger choil which positions the index finger behind the blade directly under the thumb. This allows you to go nearer to the cutting edge with more comfort.
