It actually could be a direct replacement for a protective dog because it has an extremely strong, part-serrated, part slasher blade which can get to grips with anything it does not like coming near you. It's also incredibly tough and is made from high-strength VG-10 grade Stainless Steel.

When closed, it measures a respectful 4.5 inches approximately, but when it jumps up it can get up to about 7 ¾ inches in length.
