Spyderco C92PBP Item Description:This is the Spyderco KOPA Pacific Blue Plain edged knife, model number C92PBP.
When closed it sits peacefully, resting at 3.5 inches in length, ready to be spring open at a moments notice. It is part of the limited edition Kopa range of knives. A range of Gentlemen's knives that come in the same technical configuration but yet sport a variety of different color and material schemes.
The Kopa's are being release at roughly one every 3-4 months until the full range has been made. There will only ever be 600 of each one ever made, so that makes them collectible, and will likely hold or increase in value over time.
This Pacific Blue Kopa is made from bone, feels dignified and rustic while quite manly at the same time. When you couple this with Satin stainless steel you get a lovely contrasting finish that is gorgeous to the eye.
The blade can be extended out with a single thumb, thanks to the thumb hole positioned in the blade. This means your other hand is free. The blade locks with a lockback mechanism and a David Boye cutout helps increase security at the same time.
The blade is made from Vg-10 grade stainless steel that inhibits rust and stays sharp. It really is a good grade of steel to use. With a name like Spyderco behind it, why would they use anything else?
The blade is flat ground to a fine razor edge on both sides, and measures just under 2.5 inches overall with a thickness of 1/8”.
The overall open length is almost 6 inches and the weight is 2.5oz.
The Spyderco C92PBP is a great collectible knife to love and to own.
