The 3.25 inch blade on this knife has been flat saber ground using CPM-S30V stainless steel which also benefits from a swedge grind feature that helps to keep the weight of the knife down. Some spine jimping provides the user with an additional tactile point to locate a thumb or finger during intricate controlled work as well as helping to provide resistance during use.
The Spyderco's blade automatically opens when the push button release mechanism is pressed. A frame lock safety feature prevents accidental opening when not in use. This SPC119BKP also comes with a handy reversible pocket clip so you can secure it when not in use.
