Smith and Wesson 381 Item Description:Here is the Smith & Wesson Scrimshaw Bass knife, model number 381. With fishing at it's hart it takes on the persona of the fishermen and women who made Scrimshaw handiwork from the byproducts of harvesting marine mammals. This knife shows a Bass fish decorative designed knife.
The knife features a 440C grade stainless steel blade measuring 2.44 inches fashioned into a drop-point blade design. A handy nail nick helps with the opening of the blade. Simply pinch grip the groove and pull it out ready for use.
The blade also features the Smith & Wesson SCRIMSHAW etching and locks into place firmly during use thanks to the lockback mechanism. The handle is Black colored Zytel that offers a good grip and comfortable feel in the hand during use.
On the handle you will see an imitation Scrimshaw Bass image that follows the contour of the reveal for the lockback release mechanism. Behind the image is a Gold tone Smith & Wesson inlay shield.
Measuring just 3.52 inches when closed and weighing 1.70 oz, this Smith & Wesson Bass Scrimshaw SW-381 has all the attributes for being a knife of real beauty. Perfect for those who love the seas.
