Ontario 8624 Item Description:When it comes to a high quality knife, the Ontario RAT-3 (model 8624) is certainly impressive. You will never be let down by this, as it will always perform to its very best.
The knife comes with a 3.3” drop point blade that is made out of 1095 carbon steel with a .125” thickness. The blade has a non reflective Black phosphate coating which protect the blade from any damage such as rust.
The coating also stops the sun from glaring off it, allowing you to have the element of surprise. Located on the top of the blade near the handle there is a textured notched thumb rest which aids you with you grip.
The knife has a full tang construction with canvas Micarta scales, and finger choil help you have a firm and secure grip when in use. The knife has a lanyard hole that will allow you to attach the knife to a belt loop, or around your neck by a chain.
The Ontario Rat-3 D2 serrated blade 8624 knife comes with a Black Kydex sheath which also incorporates a Tek lok locking clip for your belt.
