Ontario 8629 Item Description:This is the Ontario RTAK-II Cordura knife (model number 8629). This impressive tool will certainly knock spots off any of its competitors without ever breaking out in a sweat.
It comes with an outstanding 10” drop point blade which has a slight recurve. The blade is made out of 1095 carbon steel with a non reflective Foliage Green textured powder coating finish. The coating helps protect the blade from any outside damage, making it last a very long time.
The knife has an equally long handle which will help you control it very easily. When something is as powerful and sharp as this, you need to make sure that the whole package works very well for you.
The handle is made using canvas Micarta scales allowing you to maintain a firm and solid grip at all times. On the end of the handle there is a pommel, which can be either for decorative purposes, or as a defence weapon if needed.
The Ontario 8629 also comes with a lanyard hole, and a Cordura sheath with accessory pouch. 16 5/8" overall. 10 1/4" partially serrated 1095 carbon steel blade with a foliage green zinc phosphate finish. Full tang. OD green linen micarta handles. Black heavy nylon sheath with liner and gear pocket.
