Ontario SP23 Ranger Knife

This is the Ontario ranger knife, the SP23 (or known as the SPC23). The Ontario knife company is a major supplier of military knives and tools and does a fantastic job of producing excellent products. This spec plus Magnum Ranger heralded the true vision they had for their next generation of specialist knives suitable for military of sporting use.

The Satin colored blade is tantalisingly sharp, made from 1095 Carbon steel to help retain a sharp edge for long periods of time. It measures 5 inches and will deliver a deadly blow each and every time. Keeping all that power away from your hand is a good sized finger guard. This leads us on to the handle.

The handle is made from Kraton polymer – a thermoplastic that is over molded onto the handle offering a suitably tactile grip surface and good elastic memory properties. A rugged pummel end to the handle is handy for attacking with a hard blunt force.

A Black protective sheath comes with this knife. It is made from Cordura and leather.
