Obsidian 22-01022 440 Serrated Blade Plunge Lock

The Gerber Obsidian 22-01022 is a fantastic knife to own and everyone who has got this knife has never regretted it once. What is so great about the Gerber Obsidian is not only is it a knife but it also has multi-functional improvements as well so therefore you are getting several tools all wrapped up in one neat little package.

This knife comes with an approximate 3” partially serrated drop point blade that is made out of 440 stainless steel. What is also useful with this knife is the ambidextrous thumb stud that allows the blade to be opened either by your left or right hand with a simple flick of the thumb. For added safety you will notice that this knife has a plunge (piston) lock, this is a button that can be found on the handle that allows the blade to be locked when in use, then when you are finished you just disengage when you want it to close.

The textured handle is made from glass filled nylon, this as well as the finger choil allows you to have a firm and secure hold of the knife at all times no matter what conditions you are working in. It is very important to have total faith in you knife and knowing that it will not let you down in you time of need is very reassuring.
