The Lone Wolf Harsey D2 Automatic is a double-action automatic knife. Designer William Harsey once again knocked it out of the park with all of the features on this quality Lone Wolf knife. This knife was designed for law enforcement and military personnel as it has a discreet automatic blade-release that is below the Kraton handle that keeps it hidden and secure from the elements. This blade-release is located by the blade pivot, under the soft cover material on the left side. When you press this area you will find the recessed firing button that, after a few practice tries, comes very natural. Since the button is not visible you cannot tell that the D2 is an automatic knife. It has a stainless steel frame covered by the Kraton handle that is molded and textured for a non-slip grip. The blade is rugged CPM-S30V that is 3.9" long. The overall length is 8.8", its weighs 5.8oz, it has heat treated stainless steel fasteners and pocket clip. This is, hands-down, the toughest, best looking, double-action knife you will find and it retails for $310 so this is the best deal on a high quality knife.
