Part of their annual limited edition series of knives, this is the Case Limited XXV Edition 11583 (sometimes known as the CA11583) Canoe knife with Crimson colored jigged bone handle.

Case produce one of these limited edition series of knives each year, and then sell them all as one complete set called a mint set in addition to selling the knives individually.

This particular knife is one of just 3000 to be made. This detail is laser etched on the side of the blade as follows: Limited XX Edition 1 of 3000. Once they are gone then they are well and truly gone.

You get a Spear blade and a pen blade. Both crafted using Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel simply because it is razor sharp, and needs to be handled by adults.

The Crimson bone is taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle, because the bone is very dense and will stand the test of time. It is jigged during the production process and then soaked and dyed to get this nice design and color scheme. The case bomb inlay shield sets this knife apart from regular knives, along with the polished Nickel Silver bolsters.
