Kershaw Ener-g knives 1740

This is the Kershaw KS1740. Called the NRG assisted opening liner lock knife.
The blade is a modified drop-point blade crafted using Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel, with an extremely sharp plain-edge, perfect for slicing and precision work, such as skinning, field dressing, rope cutting etc.

The special part of this design is the “Pseunetic flipper mechanism” designed by Lee Williams, which uses Nitenol wire retention to hold the blade in the closed position. This is a great knife to own.
