A 10 inch knife made right in the heart of Seki, Japan where some truly amazing knives are now being produced.

The knife features a handle covered in Shark Skin (Same-gawa) and is tightly wrapped by a Black cord in the same way that wrappings are applied to Japanese swords. Incredibly good looking, the diamond shaped patterning adds an interesting dimension while the tang is exposed at the end of the handle for pommelling.
The guard helps keep your hand firmly planted on the handle and the the super sharp blade is made using 15 layer Blue Damascus steel (known as Aogami). They add Chromium and Tungsten to White steel making it incredibly tough and ensuring superb edge retention.
Ideal as a gift or for every day use they are great collectibles and every day work horses. Comes in a lovely presentation box and leather belt sheath (included).
