Ka-Bar KA5551 Item Description:When Ka-Bar design a knife, they sure know what the people want. This can be seen in the Ka-Bar Fin Framelock Knife (model KA5551). From the blade down to the handle they have put a lot of thought in to it, and made it a truly marvellous knife to own.
It has a slim Black stainless steel handle, with indexing divots and a frame lock. These features allow the blade to stay open all the time you are using it. When using something as sharp as this, you do not want to worry about injuring yourself in the process. On the back of the handle it has a side to side and end to end reversible Black metal pocket clip.
It also features a 2 ¾” partially serrated drop point blade that is made out of AUS8A stainless steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-59. The blade then has been given a Black finish to help protect it from rusting, allowing it to be used anywhere. On the blade it has the FIN logo proving to your friends you have the genuine thing. It also includes a notched thumb rest and an oval hole for ambidextrous one hand opening.
Comes with a lanyard hole which can be used for various carrying options.
