Ka-Bar 4082 Item Description:The Ka-Bar 4082 features a 3.125” spear point blade that is made out of AUS8A stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of 57-59. The spear point blade is good for piercing, however its point is stronger and it contains a small “belly” that can be used for slicing.
What stands out with this knife is the polished Green Micarta handle. Alongside the knife is the thumb stud that allows you to open the knife with just one hand which is perfect if you ever find yourself in a situation where your other hand is pre occupied.
The thumb rest allows you to take a firmer hold of the knife so you can rest assure that there won't be any unfortunate mishaps.
Another great feature is the lanyard hole which allows you to either attach the knife to yourself or hang up out of the way when not in use.
