Ka-Bar 3081 Item Description:No knife can withstand the elements more than the Ka-Bar 3081. The 3.25” Tanto point blade made from 3Cr13 stainless steel is made with a Rockwell hardness rating of 50-52. The blade has a non reflective black coating which has a couple of benefits. Firstly it helps to prevent rusting of the knife, preserving the life span of it.
Secondly when you are quietly approaching your target it does not allow the sun to reflect on the blade, frightening away your catch.
The charcoal black aluminium handle has checkered texturing and metal liners allowing you to have a confident and secure grip of the knife. For extra safety the liner lock stops the knife retracting back which is something you want to avoid when in action.
Has a lanyard hole which allows the knife to be attached to your belt or hung up out of the way when not in action.
