Junglee J2029 Item Description:This superb looking item is the Junglee Panda skinning axe, model J2029. Although no longer in production by the original company who existed around 10 years ago, their name continues and thankfully some of their more popular items are still available in small numbers.
The Junglee Panda skinning axe pictured here is made entirely out of AUS 8 stainless steel. It measures 15 inches overall and sports a deep curved axe head with a 6 1/8 inch cutting edge. The rear of the head is slotted and sharp for cutting things like rope, wire and small branches. Along the front edge of the axe are the words Junglee Panda Skinning Axe.
The handle has a row of jimping close to the axe head. You can grip in here while cutting rope etc. on the rear slot. Then simply hold on to the rubber handle (printed with the Junglee logo) and you can gain a really solid swing, ensuring maximum effectiveness upon impact.
The handle of the Junglee Panda 2029 skinning axe also features a lanyard hole for storage purposes. Hang it on a hook or pass your own lanyard cord through it and lash it to your belt or gear bag.
Comes complete with a Brown leather belt sheath and is made in Taiwan. A nice design.
