Japanese Mcusta Damascus Tsuchi African Ebony Wood MCU79D

Made in Japan, this is the Mcusta MCU79D Damascus steel blade Tsuchi knife. Steeped in Japanese history, these knives offer traditional Japanese workmanship and possess an air of mystery that will leave a smile on your face and a knowing glance each time you hold it in your hands.

This is a linerlocking knife with Damascus steel blade and ambidextrous thumbstuds for ease of opening. Simply push on either of the two blade mounted studs and it springs open into life. This feat can be achieved with just one hand which is ideal when your other hand is holding something securely in position. There is nothing worse than having to drop whatever it is you are holding only to pick it up again afterwards.

The blade is a .33 layer Nickel Damascus steel blade with a VG-10 core. Etched with MCUSTA Seki Japan the blade looks authentic and adds to the Japanese feel. When folded away, this knife measures 3 ¾ inches so will easily fit into your pocket. It can also be stored away inside the included pouch.

The handle is exotic African Ebony wood and has a great carved design that naturally provides grip. An Anodized pivot pin is exposed quite clearly in all its glory. A specially designed Teflon washer system offers you a silky smooth action and an enjoyable experience.

The rear of the handle reveals a section of the steel that serves 2 purposes. As a lanyard hole for passing a lanyard through and securing it to your belt or backpack or even hung around your neck. It is also a pointed tip so would make a great weapon for stunning and delivering crushing blows. The lock release mechanism can be seen in the reveal in the lower section of the handle.
