Imperial Schrade Old Timer Bearhead Buffalo Lockback SCH3OTB

Here is the Imperial Schrade “Old Timer” series Bearhead lockback knife. This is the SCH3OTB and a really nice brand developed by the Taylor Brands LLC company (set up in 1975) who like to keep older brand names alive, developing past designs, improving them and developing new ones along the way.

It features a stainless steel drop-point blade with fingernail grove cut into it to help with the opening and closing of the blade. When not in use, simply close the blade and it fit's easily into your pocket or sheath. It measures 3 inches in it's closed position.

The handle is smooth Black Buffalo horn and has the Old Timer inlay shield set into it, made using Nickel Silver. The bolster is also Nickel Silver and provides a pleasing contrast to the handle material. There is a lockback release mechanism exposed in the rear of the handle enabling to to release the locked blade when you have finished using it.
