Hogue knives came about when they entered into a collaboration with Allen Elishewitz and the end result are a series of scintillating and mouth watering knives you'll be rushing out to buy. This knife is a knife that measures 10 12 inches overall. The blade section is 5 ½ inches and is made using A2 tool steel in a drop point blade style.
The blade is a KG 2400 series GUN-KOTE coating upon it and is heat treated to deliver a Rockwell hardness rating of RC57-59. The blade is one tough little number. A series of spine jimpings allow you to place your thumb for additional grip and control.
The handle is Green 3D G-10 fiber with a G-Mascus pattern embedded in the handle. Dual lanyard holes provide options for lashing and storage. There is also a storage area inside with handle, plus you get an allen wrench included.
Completing the overall package is a military tough Black ballistic Nylon belt sheath that also has a protective insert and leg ties. It is MOLLE compatible and offers multiple belt mounting options.
