The special reason this knife is featured here today is simply the addition of the Wharncliffe blade. Nobody is entirely sure about the origins of the Wharncliffe blade however it is widely believed and assumed that it was a development made after Lord Wharncliffe of Sheffield, England in the 19th century asked for a knife that would be better for cutting than for poking. Thus the Wharncliffe design was created.

This blade design later developed into other USA incarnations such as the Hawkbill and sheepfoot blade.

This knife is part of a series of Trapper knives. The Mini Trapper, Tiny Trapper and Trapper. The smooth bone handles come in five different colors you can choose between. The smooth bone of this knife is Brazilian cattle bone that is incredibly dense. It is given the Green color through a dye dip process in their workshop.

Then they affix a diamond shaped case inlay shield, and fix the handle to the frame using polished pins and rivets. Two polished Nickel Silver bolsters cup each end, adding their own special touch of luxury.

Both blades are tru-sharp surgical stainless steel and come with fingernail marks so you can pull the blade out easier. The blades are tang stamped with CASE XX near the pivot point.
