Columbia River Rollock Knife Red Handle 5212R

The Columbia River Rollock Red Handle 5212R is another fantastic knife from the Columbia River collection. The original Rollox knife was first invented in 1975 and had a huge following. Unfortunately the production of it was limited, so Columbia River asked knife maker Allen Elishewitz to redesign the classic. This produced the smoothest Rollock ever.

Featuring a 2.25” drop point blade made from AUS6M stainless steel which has a Rockwell hardness of 55-57 and a mirror polished finish and a friction grooved thumb rest. The blade is also taper ground, with a mirror polished finish, giving it a much more stylish look and feel to it. What makes this knife so easy to work is the fact that it can be opened with one hand very easily. Just simply press at the base of the blade and slide the blade open. When finished just press the blade lock, let the blade slide back and pull until it locks closed.

The handle has a mirror polished 420J2 stainless steel frame with red translucent polycarbonate scales. These provide excellent grip and more importantly comfort, which is very important when using a knife for long periods of time. It also has an engine turned pattern, key ring hole and a mirror polished 420J2 stainless steel pocket/money clip that is mounted at the butt end.
