The blade has a high hollow grind with a swedged top edge and high satin finish. The knife can be easily opened by one hand using the ambidextrous flipper. To guarantee extra safety, the blade has a ball detent for when it is closed.

The blue titanium nitride finish handle has the IKBS ball bearing system machined into it. This is a very effective design that has eight uncaged ball bearings on each side of the blade pivot. You will find it is compact and easily adjustable at the blade pivot. The IKBS system is really useful as it requires very little maintenance.
