Columbia River 1166K Item Description:Knife designer Gerry McGinnis created the Columbia River McGinnis Summa T 1166K knife, as he wanted to create a knife that had that special feel about it. Gerry may not be as well known yet in the cutlery world, but one thing is for sure, once word gets out he will be the talk of the town.
This knife comes with a 3.75” drop point blade made out of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with a very high hollow grind and tactical black titanium coating which helps protect against corrosion. The last thing you need when you have purchased a knife, is to have to replace it in a few months time.
If like many other people you are fed up having to mess about opening you knife, then listen carefully. To open the 1166K simply press the flipper and the knife will spring into action, raring to face what ever challenge you have for it. You never have to fear that this knife will accidentally open as the liner lock prevents this from happening.
All Summa models have an open interframe build with stainless steel liners, hand shaped black and blue layered polished Micarta scales for a more comfortable and secure grip at all times. The liners and custom removable stainless steel clip have a blue titanium nitride coating which makes it stand out from the rest.
