Columbia River would like to introduce you to the Columbia River Edgie 2 Yellow 6444Y. When knife designer Steve Jernigan created this knife he wanted something that was so different to all the others are out there. This particular knife hones it's edge every time it is opened or closed. Hence the reason it was given the name Edgie. This simple addition will save you lots of time and energy.

The 6444Y comes with a 3.25” American Eagle Wharncliffe blade made from 5Cr15MoV stainless steel with a satin finish. You will find when using the knife, this style of blade is excellent when it comes to penetration which you will find very useful. When you also use it on tougher materials such as rope or corrugated cardboard you will not need to put much effort into it at all. When you want to open the blade your notice this can be done by one hand. If you have ever been in a situation in the past where you have struggled opening the knife with one hand, you are going to love this feature. At the butt of the knife you will find the lock back release. This provides excellent lock-ups safety, which allows the blade to stay in the open position when in use.

The frame is extremely durable thanks to the stainless steel interframe, built with Zytel scales. This textured surface and grooved TPR insert allows you to have an excellent grip even in the wettest conditions. This particular model is also available in blue as well.
