From Columbia River comes this really rather scrumptious looking knife. This is the Columbia River CRKT Ken Onion Ripple knife, model number CR405BXP. A real gentleman's tactical folder that will delight you each time you cast your gaze across it. Certainly something to consider when a razor sharp edge and assured response is required.

This knife is in a league of it's own and is extremely well made. The Ripple K405 series is a collaboration series between Ken Onion and Columbia River, so in it's own right is certainly something rather special.

This knife features the IKBS internal ball bearing system for a deliciously smooth and rapid opening, and also sports the stunning Blue Titanium Nitride coating to the handle, which is further CNC machined to keep the weight down and enhance grip levels.

The blade is a highly finished modified drop point blade which has been made using a premium acuto, delivering a Rockwell hardness rating of 59-60HRC. Push on the blade flipper with either hand and it quickly springs into action, locking into place during use thanks to the frame lock mechanism. Press on the ball detent to release.

The exciting thing with this knife is there is very little friction opening the blade. This is due to the eight ball bearings machined into either side of the pivot which wield a brilliant response each and every time.

This knife is actually designed for every day use, so don't be afraid to get your hands dirty during use, as you aren't going to be disappointed. It's blade is 3.125 inches in length, and measures .10 inches thick. The handle is 4.375 inches (when the blade is closed) and also has a lanyard hole, as well as a stainless steel pocket clip mounted at the pivot end of the knife.
