Columbia River 6055 Centofante Tribute Lockback

Just when you thought Columbia River could not surprise you, they go and design the Columbia River Centofante Tribute 6055.

Frank Centofante was one of the pioneers in the custom knife making movement who unfortunately passed away in September 2009 before he getting the chance to see this lockback design go into CRKT production. Out of respect Columbia River decided to name this knife after him. You can guarantee somewhere he will be looking down smiling happily at his creation.

Features a 3.125” drop point blade that is made out of premium 7Cr17Mov stainless steel in a satin finish. This gives the blade a non reflective look which in certain circumstances like hunting, gives you the upper hand as well as the element of surprise. It also has a high flat grind and a finger groove allowing you to open the knife. You will find no bumps or facets, just the simplest shape possible.

The lightweight Micarta handle is layered in chestnut brown and black giving the knife a more elegant and regal look to it. It also comes with stainless steel lockback lever ensuring the knife stays in the open position at all time so you never have to worry about any unwanted accidents happening. The pivot is peened in the style of Frank's customs, as are the assembly pins. Finally, the handle is shaped and polished by hand

You will find the Centofante Tribute needs no fancy gimmicks or frills, it's just a no nonsense knife willing and able to do its duty.
