Columbia River 5021 Item Description:What can we say about the Columbia River VAN HOY YEA-Go Combo 5021, apart from you would be totally crazy to miss out on having one. Very rarely does a knife come along that excites you so much that you have to own it right away.
Knife designer Ed Van Hoy decided to create a truly powerful and strong knife and the name given to this knife is a great example. Yea-Go is in fact a Navajo phrase meaning “all you might”, which describes this knife perfectly.
Featuring a 3.125” drop point blade made from AUS8 stainless steel, with a swedged top edge, high hollow grind seven holes in the blade making it lighter as well. To open this knife is very easy to do, simply press down on the thumb disk which will then releases the blade instantly. There is nothing difficult or fiddly about it, which then allows you to get on with the job straight away.
The menacing handle made from 6061-T6 Aircraft grade Aluminum, has hard anodized matte black scales which provide you with a secure and firm grip of the knife at all times. Finally it is liberally drilled and scalloped which gives it a very decorative look. The stainless steel interframe is also optimized by one thick liner and one thinner locking liner. A PPS composite back spacer at the butt aids balance and gives rigidity. Another great use for the butt can also be used as a defence weapon if needed.
Comes with a removable and reversible clip systems which can be changed simply by sliding it out of the detented slot in either scale. No matter if you are left or right handed this knife will work for you.
