Here is the Columbia River McGinnis Notorious 1167. How can Gerry McGinnis keep coming up with new and inventive designs all the time? It really does amaze us. Just when he has finished designing one, he is hard at work creating another brilliant knife.

Featuring an 3.5” modified spear point blade that is made out of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel and a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. What is important when you own some knives is that some are not very good in certain environments. That is one thing you do not have to worry about that with this knife, as the blade has a satin finish to it. This helps to prevent corrosion, allowing you to take the knife where ever you want to. The 1167 also features the Outburst assisted opening system. Simply by pressing one of the dual ramped thumb studs, instantly springs the blade fully open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees.

Once you have held the knife , you will notice that the handle is really strong and rigid. It also has two stainless steel frames and a stainless steel back spacer. For additional grip there are G10 scale inlays that fit the hand perfectly. Never again will you have to worry about your hand slipping, when you have to get a bit heavy handed.
