Comes with a 154cm modified spear point blade made from stainless steel, a Rockwell hardness of 58-60 and a non reflective bead finish which prevents corrosion of the blade, giving it a much longer life span. When either of the dual custom thumb studs are rotated outwards 30 degrees, the Tailwind spring instantly rotates the blade to full open and locked position. What makes this action smooth and very fast is the Teflon bushings found at the blade pivot.

As well as having a strong and durable blade, the handle is more than equally matched . The handle has an exceptional rigid and strong interframe construction, that has 410 stainless steel liners, one locking and scales that are made out of 6061 aluminum hard anodized gray. This allows you to have a much more secure and firm grip of the knife no matter what the weather conditions you find yourself working in.

The 1000A also comes with a removable pocket/gear clip made from 10 stainless steel in light bead finish.
