Cold Steel 97SA18S 18 inch Sax Machette

This is the Cold Steel 18 inch Sax Machette 97SA18S. Inspired by centuries old ancient European Sax designs, or what is now Scandinavia – this Sax blade is 18 inches long, which is wide, and has a straight cutting edge, along with the characteristic downward sloping point.

The handle is made from durable, comfortable Polypropylene which is comfortable and lends a good level of grip, and is virtually indestructible.

It weighs 22.3oz, has a 3mm thick blade, a 5 5/9th inch blade and is a larger variant of the Sax bladed machette (we also do a smaller 12 inch bladed Sax – please refer to the 97SA12S for more information)
