Cold Steel 97SA12S item description:Here we present to you the slightly smaller 12 inch version of the Cold Steel Sax Machette, the 97SA12S (We also do an 18 inch version which can be found by model number 97SA18S).
Inspired by centuries old ancient European Sax designs, or what is now Scandinavia – this Sax blade is 12 inches long, which is wide, and has a straight cutting edge, along with the characteristic downward sloping point. The smaller size is suited to more people and allows for swifter, more agile movements, as well as being lighter in weight if you intend to carry it for certain periods of time.
The handle is made from durable, comfortable Polypropylene which is comfortable and lends a good level of grip, and is virtually indestructibe.
It weighs 16.3oz, has a 3mm thick blade, a 5 5/8th inch blade and is a larger variant of the Sax bladed machette (we also do a smaller 18 inch bladed Sax – please refer to the 97SA18S for more information)
