Cold Steel 88BDK Item Description:This is the Cold Steel Warrior Double Edge Katana sword – model number 88BDK.
These warrior series of swords were born to be battle ready fighting instruments which are cheaper than their more expensive Imperial series of swords.
The only difference is that these swords do not have a mirror polished finish, whereas the more expensive Imperial series do.
This is because, due to demand, people wanted these swords at a more affordable price.
This double edged Katana weighs 32.5oz and has a blade at 5/16” thick.
The blade is 28.75 inches long, and crafted from super tough 1055 Carbon steel, given an incredibly sharp razor edge that is devastatingly good.
The handle is a 10.25 inch handle wrapped with Black braid cord, and a brass Menuki. It's also wrapped with Samé (Ray skin).
Overall, 39 inches long and comes with a lacquered scabbard and blue/violet cover bag.
