Cold Steel 60CE Item Description:This is the Cold Steel 60CE Caledonian Edge knife. A modern advancement on a long-offered knife called the Culloden, which was based on the early Scottish “Black knife”, or “Skean Dhu”.
This tactical folding knife takes inspiration from the ancient Skean Dhu but has been refined with many modern improvements – this is a true modern classic.
It sports a virtually unbreakable 4.25 inch blade, having been made from San Mai II stainless steel with a razor like blade and a tip often referred to as being as sharp as a needles tip.
It folds using a leaf spring locking mechanism, easily with the thumb stud on the blades upper spine, and sits snugly inside the handle alongside the Titanium liners.
The 5.1 inch handle is a slim, Titanium lined substructure with stunning polished Micarta scales, buffeted with polished Titanium bolsters and a palm hugging profile.
Opens quickly, weighs just 5.8oz, and enjoys a stainless steel pocket clip for easy carry options. This is a great modern day interpretation.
