With pattern number 5254SS the knife measures 4 1/8 inches when the blades are in the closed position. It will fit comfortably in most pockets when not in use. At either end of the handle are the two bolsters designed to help strengthen the knife. They're made from polished Nickel Silver and are pinched at the ends with a flute line down them. This adds a nice appealing design that sets them apart from many other bolsters.

The inlay shield is bomb shaped and also made from matching polished Nickel Silver, stamped with the CASE company name. All three provide a really nice contrast to the handle.
