Case Sturm Ruger G-10 Red Handle Peanut Knife 12oz 6523

From W.R. Case comes this delightful little knife – it is the 6523 Peanut knife, or more affectionately known as the collaboration with Sturm Ruger. The delightful Red coloring on the handle is made up from G-10, which is a fantastic composite made from layering multiple fiberglass layers together, soaked and bonded in an epoxy resin before being highly compressed then finally baked.

Because of the strength, they wholly weatherproof, fending off moisture and liquids with a simple glance, while remaining stable under any climate conditions.

The feel is good and well balanced, and with an overall weight of 1,2oz, it's one of those knives you could comfortably put to use all day long without any fuss whatsoever.

The Sturm Ruger shield is inlaid within the handle, within a pre-set recess, while a pin and nails secure the handle to the frame, coupled off with highly polished Nickel Silver bolsters that case love to use, because the finished effect from them is just striking.

It's hard to describe how good a knife looks with these bolsters, but it assure does make a huge difference.

As for the blades, well you get a Clip blade and a pen blade – use them as you see fit. The pen blade is good smaller detailed work while the Clip blade serves a multitude of functions.

Each blade has been made from the reliable tru-sharp surgical stainless steel, Case tang stamped, with a handy fingernail nick offering extra traction for pulling the blade out from the handle whenever you are ready for action.
