Here is the Case CA10499 Standard knife company knife, pattern number 6254SS. It pays tribute to some of Case's earliest pioneers, Elliot and Dean Case. These two brothers are owed a lot of gratitude in the early years of Case knives.

Even though the original Standard knife company (of Little Valley, New York) only existed from 1901 to 1903 it paved the way for the future. Sadly Elliot passed away before the true strength of their brand could be materialized, and these range of Standard branded knives show their respect to the two early Case brothers.

This Trapper knife is as good as it gets and includes all the much loved features we have come to expect from a Case knife.

First of all we get the stainless steel Clip and Spey blades, each one razor sharp and including fingernail grooves. The blades are “X-X-X Standard” tang stamped and highly polished. They are easy to open. All you need to do is pull around the groove on the blade and you are good to go.

The handle jigged Brown bone with Brass pins and a Nickel Silver STANDARD inlay shield and polished Nickel Silver bolsters at either end. All in all this CA10499 Case standard knives Trapper knife makes for a great knife and won't let you down.
