Case CA10500 Item Description:Paying homage to some of the earliest Case knife pioneers is this Case Standard Knives Company CA10500 medium Stockman knife. Dressed in some of the most popular colors Case makes, it's a real favorite among Case fans old and new alike.
Years ago in Little Valley, NY, Dean and Elliot Case began selling knives under the Standard Knives brand. They were both originally jobbers of Platts, and knives from Sheffield, England. At the time, Dean was looking for a site to set up their production runs, but at the same time Elliot passed away. Sadly this meant that the company only ran from 1901 to 1903.
Since that time, the trademark has been registered to others over the years, but their story lives on, and with this medium Stockman, you too can pay your own fitting tribute.
The knife measures 3 3/8 inches in length (when closed) and delivers impeccably sharp stainless steel blades (Clip, Spey and Sheepsfoot). The handle is jigged Brown bone and has the STANDARD inlay shield set into it. Polished Nickel Silver bolsters sit at either end, completing the outer appearance.
