Paying tribute to the Standard Knife Company (founded by Dean & Elliot Case in 1901), this Case Standard Knife Co. CA10504 Small Texas Toothpick is a fine example of what the Case family of pioneers have managed to achieve since as far back as 1889.

With pattern number 610096SS, the knife has a razor sharp stainless steel long clip blade which is tang stamped with the Standard Knife Co. and also features a fingernail groove which helps open the blade from the closed position.

The handle is jigged Brown bone, has the Standard inlay shield and polished Nickel Silver bolsters, making this a brilliant knife that makes your mind cast back to the early pioneers. When Dean and Elliot set up the Standard Knife company in 1901, they sold in Little Valley, New York. Sadly Elliot passed away in 1903 so the company's potential was cut short.

Over the years the trademark was registered to others a few times. These days there are probably more reproductions than originals in existence, and Case decided they should pay their own special thanks to their ancestors.
