Case Saddlehorn Vintage Stag PDV Anthracite Blades CA17108

You are looking at the Case Saddlehorn CA17108 Vintage Stage knife with Anthracite coated blades. Featuring pattern number TBV52110 SS it uses genuine Stag for the handle and tru-sharp surgically stainless steel for the blades.

There are of course two blades for this knife. You get the usual Clip blade and Skinner blade, both of which lock into place using a slip-joint mechanism. When the blades are closed, this takes the total overall length of the knife down to just 3 ½ inches. With it's weight being just 3.5oz it is also nice and lightweight and so can be carried and used all the time without causing too much undue stress or fatigue during use.

The blades are tru-sharp steel and embellished with Anthracite PVD that shows swirls and the Case logo set into the main Clip blade for decorative purposes. It's a very nice effect. Fingernail grooves cut into them aid you when you want to open or close the blades making life easier.

The handle is genuine Stag with an Antique finish to it. You can also see a Case bowtie inlay shield and polished Bolsters. Both the bolsters and inlay shield are made using polished Nickel Silver, offering a wonderful contrast to the handle material.
