Here is a rather special knife. In fact every Case knife is special but this one is unique. It is the Case Russlock knife with Black G10 handle and an “as ground” blade finish that makes a nice and refreshing change to the mirror polished blades we usually see.

As usual, the W.R. Case company continue to innovate with designs for just about every knife taste in the world. This knife has a Black G10 handle that is a composite made from epoxy resin and glass fiber which are then compressed to high levels to deliver a handle that is strong and impervious to most chemicals.

An oval Case inlay shield is set in the handle made using polished Nickel Silver. The two end bolsters are also polished Nickel Silver, providing a nice contrast to the handle material.

The locking Clip blade features an extended tang that you can push on with your thumb to open it with one hand if you want to and it will lock into place securely. Squeeze the release lever in the handle when you are finished with it.

The steel used is Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel that has an “as ground” finish to it which is not polished. It's razor sharp, holds a sharp edge and also fends off rust and corrosion.
