With pattern number 61953LSS, the knife sports a 4 ¼ inch (when closed) linerlock length. This length is a great length that suits so many people that it is set to be equally as popular as many of the past Case knives produced from their Bradford, PA production facility.
The knife is based on a design where the original “Gum Fuddy” knives from World War II were made as a result of a shortage of traditional handle materials at the time. It blends the wonderful looking jigged rough Black synthetic handle with an oval inlay shield and bolsters. The bolsters and shield are made using polished Nickel Silver.
The blade is Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel that offers a razor sharp edge that holds that edge for long periods of time as well as fending off rust and corrosion. A long extended tang hangs over the edge for you to push on with your thumb. Pushing in it opens out the gorgeous Clip point blade ready for use. There isn't anything quite as satisfying as when you flick open the blade on this beauty.
