The blades hold their sharp edge for long periods of time and also help fight off rust and corrosion. Both blades have fingernail grooves cut into them to help you when opening and closing the blade.
The handle is jigged bone with an utterly desirable rich Blue color. Brass pins secure the handle in place and then the handle is smothered with polished Nickel Silver in the form of the two end bolsters and the inlay shield.
The Case 2800 Trapper knife in Navy Blue bone measures 4 1/8 inches when closed and weighs 4oz. One very nice looking knife.
